日本に行ったら 日本に行ったら時、京都に行きたいです。京都は小さくてきれいなので、私はそれが好きだと思います。東京は少し大きすぎて忙しいです。京都の中では、神社に行ったり、葵祭に行きたり、料理教室をしたりするつもりです。また、私はたくさんの和食を食べたいです。カレーライスは私の好きな食べ物です。

きくしゅくだい I listened to the Best of Japanese Songs ! I really like to listen to songs when I am relaxing in my dorm or doing some light homework, especially Japanese homework. So I thought it would be interesting to play Japanese music. It was really interesting to see the different range/style of music that was popular over time in Japan. So many of the songs were different in their tone, speed of Japanese, and using "Japanglish." I really enjoyed listening to the songs, and a lot of them weren't too hard to follow in some respect. I am definitely acquiring cultural knowledge through music! A lot of casual conversation and social/societal interest can be understood through a country's music. And I starting to recognize more and more Japanese within the songs I listen to. I remember one of the songs started of singing about how the wind was blowing and it was a dark night, and I was really pleased to find out that I could understand what they're saying. I thin

LISTENING ACTIVITY For my listening activity, I listened to 80s Japanese music for around 55 minutes. It is a study and relaxation playlist, so last night I listened to the music while I was doing my laundry. I really liked it, since 80s music is my favorite type of music. I could see the similarities between the English/American music I like and the Japanese songs from the same decade, and it gave me an interesting insight into Japanese culture and the popular mainstream and global trends of the time because a lot of the music sounded similar. I recognized some words as well which was very fun! Since I am familiar with the style and themes in 80s music, it was easier to piece together the meaning!!!

私が好きなたべもの 私が一番好きな食べものはチキンシャワルマです。チキンシャワルマは中東(middle east)料理でから、塩っぱくて美味しと思います。ギリシャ風チキンシャワルマとトルコ風チキンシャワルマがあります。 材料がもっと好きですから、トルコの鶏肉のシャワルマのほうがいいと思います。 私がよく行くレストラン キャンパスで私がよく行くレストランはガルバンゾです。ライアンホールの隣にあるヘスバーグ国際ビル内にあります！私はSDHで食べますから、レストランとであまり行きませんけど、ときどきガルバンゾにたべにいきます！でも、とてもたかいで、私は週に一度行きます。
